LAAD – Defence & Security, From 12nd to 15 th of April 2011, located at Riocentro RJ - LAAD BRAZIL is the most important trade show for the defence and security industry in Latin America, dedicated to companies that specialise in supplying equipments and services to the Armed Forces, Police, and Security services. SECAMIC BRASIL will attend this event and will be very glad to meet you on our booth : At the French Pavillon HALL 4, C28.

With its experience in aeronautics, Secamic wants to developp its activity with the naval segment. As part of Euronaval 2010, new contacts have been made with the navy’s actors, both in building and equipment domains. Secamic aims to ease the access of the french know-how in the “FOS” and repair to foreign navires.

Following to our partnership between our company and Marechal compagny, SECAMIC do BRASIL was present at “Rio Oil & Gas” Exhibition in Rio de Janeiro, from september 13th to 16th 2010 with our distributor BLINDA.

Mr Lucereau was elected this year Aero PME’s Comity desk member, and named GIFAS’s International Commission member, with M. Emeric d’Arcimoles as president (SAFRAN).

The company was quoted 3 + by the “Banque de France", French Central Bank which reflects a strong capacity to meet its obligations.

SECAMIC became NEXTER’s consultant for Brasil. We support NEXTER through our subsidiary SECAMIC do BRASIL in their commercial and marketing trade with air, land and navy forces. NEXTER is a french group leader in the manufacture of weapon systems, arms and ammunitions.

To celebrate the 100th aniversary of the crossing of the English chanel in 1909 by Louis Blériot who had his "aeroparc" premises in Buc (where Secamic is located) SECAMIC donated a Mirage III aircraft to the city of Buc. This aircraft will be unveiled on june 6, 2009 by the Mayor of Buc, Mr Le Rudulier and Mr Serge Dassault, son of Marcel Dassault who, as young engineer, designed in the same "aeroparc" the famous Eclair propeller.

The French Saint Dizier Air Force Base has been the place for the official ceremony celebrating the arrival of the Rafale in the Air Force, on the 27th of June, 2006. A combat proven superiority and its 2 power M88-2 engines gives the Rafale capabilities never reached. The French Air Force should receive up to 234 Rafale aircrafts

The official opening of the Chilean Airshow was on March 27. The Chilean minister for Defence, Mrs Vivianne Blanlot made a special stop at our booth and shown a high interest on our capabilities. Our president, Bertrand Lucereau and Ricardo Chehade, the Director of our subsidiary en Chile, DEFMA, were receiving the Minister.

SECAMIC has just signed a consultant agreement for Jordan with the French MESSIER Services company. Well planted in Jordan where SECAMIC already represents numerous manufacturers in the field of military aeronautical equipments, this contract with MESSIER Services will even increase SECAMIC's leadership in terms of spare parts and repairs. For Jordan, MESSIER Services repairs, overhauls, manufactures and sells landing and braking system equipments mounted on the Royal Jordanian Air Force fleet of Mirage F-1 fighter aircrafts.
